How To Distribute Your Mortgage Articles And Promote
Your Mortgage Business
Everywhere I go, there are loan officers that are desperately searching for ways to generate more traffic to their mortgage websites. Some are even paying hundreds of dollars for various paid traffic schemes with questionable results.
My question to them is always...Why aren't you writing articles promoting your Mortgage Business?
If the idea of writing articles for your Mortgage Business is totally new to you...the following archived article is a great review...How to Market Your Mortgage Business And Website Using Articles.
A few savvy Mortgage and Real Estate Professionals have been using this technique for years to drive high-volume traffic to their websites. And they've made good money in the process!
There's always a huge demand for good articles and when you publish an article you're getting an enormous virtual Ad for free. Remember, a regular Ad is there because someone paid bucks to have it placed there. But your article is there because a publisher, a blog or a forum owner, thought it contained valuable information that would benefit his/her readers.
Interestingly, since you are now 'published,' many people now see you as an expert? Think about it...Who would you likely do business with...Someone who paid to have their Ad inserted, or someone (like you) who is an expert and has just published an article full of valuable information?

While the benefits of article marketing are huge, I did recognize early that submitting articles (getting articles published on the Internet) is a boring, tedious, and time consuming job.
After spending lots of bucks on desktop software programs and various on-line services, I finally committed to using an article distribution service at ArticleMarketer.com. My only regret is that I had found them last, instead of first.
Here are my reasons for subscribing to ArticleMarketer.com service:
1. This is an on-line subscription service. Enter your article once and you're done!
You can subscribe to their service quarterly or annually. You can also cancel at any time. There is a free trial available where you can actually submit three (3) articles.
2. The formatting of your article is double checked prior to publishing.
All article directories and publishers have submission guidelines and certain formatting that you must follow. ArticleMarketer has set up their system to check your article (a computer check and a human review) before it's published.
3. When approved (usually about 24 hours later), your article is submitted automatically.
Each of your articles will be distributed to about 1,000 article directories and depositories. The top article directories will send you an email confirmation when they publish your article. Most will review your article before publishing it
4. New article directory submissions are added automatically.
As new directories are added to the Internet and agree to work with ArticleMarketer, your articles (regardless of the creation date) are sent to the directory. Just this past week, all of my articles were automatically submitted to two (2) new article directories. The new directories emailed me that they were accepting and publishing my articles.
5. Lots of tracking information.
Every single article that you set-up in the system and is then distributed, is tracked giving you details on when, where, and to whom (including the URL) your article was submitted. As of this writing, one of my early articles has now been submitted to 1,333 different locations.
To check the increasing exposure of your articles, they also give each article a page with links to Google, Yahoo, MSN, and Ask.com so you can see where that particular article is appearing (and how many times) in the major search engines. The links to your articles will build over time as they are used and published by other Websites.
ArticleMarketer allows you to enter an alternative bio or resource box for lead tracking. Some directories allow a snippet of HTML code in that area. In my case, readers that click to sign-up for my newsletter are sent to a special page and sign-up box. I now know where this particular subscriber came from...one of my articles.
Yes...some of this is a little heavy. If you're confused, that's OK...so was I in the beginning. New things are always confusing and you just need to jump in and just do it. We're not talking about a life-time commitment or brain surgery here.
Most people feel they just can't write, and you may be one of them. But the fact is, anyone can write an article. You have probably seen articles that are just lists (like this one) and they may even look like a shopping list or a list of things to do. They're very popular today because they're quick and easy to read. So the fact is, if you can write a “To Do” list, you can write an article.
If you're saying to yourself...”I'm not an expert, who would be interested in my articles?" The answer is...Because of the Internet...Lots of people! And that's what makes article marketing so great, your reader found you (via the Internet), you didn't have to spend mega-bucks to find them.
As you have probably noticed, this article is not only a list...it's actually a “review” of a service that I currently use and also recommend. It's an unsolicited critique and evaluation of a very good company. Remember, there are many reasons to write your article and, many reasons why people will read your article.
Here's my suggestion:
Read all of my articles in the “Article Marketing” section...get started by writing a few articles...submit them manually, and...then use the free trial offer. When you start to see some results (traffic and/or reputation) from your article marketing effort...think of automating your submissions with a paid subscription to a great service at ArticleMarketer.com.
