Attention: Loan Officers and Mortgage Brokers The Report Marketing Kit If you have reviewed any of my marketing material, you probably noticed that I love to offer "free reports" to the readers of my personal mortgage fliers, letters, bulletin board notices, postcards, and most anything else that I distribute to promote my Mortgage Business. Offering a free report is what can be referred to as a subtle call to action. It’s a way for reader’s of your material to raise their hand and easily ask you for more information. It’s a hook...or an incentive to receive something for free. It’s a motivator that works extremely well and you need to use it whenever and where ever possible.
Here’s how it works... Incorporate and offer targeted “free reports” into all of your marketing materials, advertising, fliers, brochures, door hangers, business cards, and everything else that promotes your mortgage business. While your competition is offering the traditional “low mortgage rates,” or “a free appraisal or pre-qualification,” you’ll be offering free information using targeted “free reports” instead.
You’ll notice that I use the phase “targeted free reports.” By promoting a specific group of reports you can target the types of customers you prefer to work with. You may target home buyers, first-time buyers, refinance prospects, FSBOs or, the credit challenged. The choice is yours...and the huge number of leads that you generate using this system...are also yours.
